Recently I discovered two Cisco UCS implementations that require Nexus 00V to support PVLANs in special settings due to End Host Host Mode. After doing a little search I found the following method that lets you force the vibrator NOTE: Do not try to do this if N1kv is running Shell. Cisco Nexus 00V is a scattered virtual messaging solution that is fully integrated into virtual VMware infrastructure including VMware vCenter for virtualization administrator. The separation of the controller VSM and the data plan VEM a distributed switch architecture is possible as shown in the picture here left. The Cisco Nexus 00V software installed on these sites can be used for both VMware Classic and VMware Embedded platform installation and upgrades.Download update from Cisco updated VEM is not installed on VMWare for 5.1 so you will need to install a new server and then use the Cisco update. If you do not have and use VMware vCenter Update Manager 4.0 Update 1 Patch 2 vCLI build 198790 and VSM Release 4.0 4 SV1 2 or later to get non-interruptive updates. If you are familiar with Cisco products and have been working with a physical Cisco switch you will already know what the subject and the network are. From what I seen in this area L2 mode is the most common But with the introduction of VXLAN in SV1 5.1 slowly goes towards L3. Note: I had this understanding and understanding of running this under VCSA-6.0 and ESXi-6.0 so I used these products before but not under 6.5.
